The 2014 Sabina Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is dark ruby with a clear hue. The lifted nose reveals a mélange of red and black fruits including dark cherry, cassis and black berry. The noble hillside St. Helena terroir is evident with a dusty character. Classic notes of cedar, cigar box and pencil shavings round out the secondary dimensions soaring from the glass. Exceptional levels of natural acidity, a strong character of the vintage, carry the concentrated palate effortlessly across the tongue. The mid palate explodes with cherry, black berry and earth. A touch of high quality oak accents the long finish where the fine grained tannic structure flexes its muscle.
